Election Day

I Voted

I Voted (Photo credit: yaquina)

Get out there and vote.

I’m considering having a little bit of time for my students to discuss the events and how it could impact the next four years — for either candidate. However, the kids chase geese and say ignorant things. Though I am forgiving, their cohort isn’t so much forgiving as they are grudge-holding…

Meanwhile, please do your American duty and vote. It’s a great privilege to have some small say in the direction our country goes — for better or worse.

The important thing to remember is that we aren’t voting for perfection, we’re voting for a voice that will serve us well and harbor American freedom, strength, and progress of pocket and will. A tradition we’ve struggled to hold for over 200 years.

Happy Election Day, ‘Merica.
